              Browse all Vendors →

The Purchases → Vendors page lists every vendor with their billed totals. From here you can find a vendor quickly, export the list, set vendors inactive and delete them one at a time or in bulk.

              Find vendors

              • Use the date filter at the top of the page to choose the period. The Vendors, Bills, Amount and GST cards and the totals in the list follow it.
              • Type in Search through all your vendors to search by name, GSTIN or phone number.
              • Click a column heading such as Vendor Name or Created At to sort.

              Actions on one vendor

Open the actions menu at the end of a vendor's row:

              • Edit — change the vendor's details.
              • Preview — open the vendor's page with their bills and totals.
              • Set as Inactive or Set as Active — inactive vendors are greyed out in the list and can't be selected for bulk actions.
              • Delete — removes the vendor after you confirm.

              Delete several vendors at once

              1. Tick the box next to each vendor, or tick the box in the header row to select the whole page.

              2. To go beyond this page, click Select all N Vendors in the selection bar.

This selects every active vendor that matches your search and date filter. Untick any you want to keep.

              3. Click Delete selected.

              4. Read the confirmation. It lists what is recorded against these vendors, such as linked purchase invoices, sales invoices, debit notes and purchase orders. These are deleted too.

              5. Click Yes, delete N vendors.

A progress bar shows how far the deletion has got, and the list refreshes when it finishes. Click Clear to drop a selection without deleting anything.

              Export the list

Click the download icon in the table's toolbar and choose Download as CSV or Download as XLSX. The file includes every vendor that matches your search and date filter, not just the current page. Exporting needs the Pro plan; on the Free plan you'll see an upgrade prompt instead.

              Importing vendors

There is no import option on the Vendors page. If you're moving from Zoho Books, its import under Smart Integrations brings your vendors across along with your other records.

              Tips

              • Deleting a single vendor also deletes the bills and other documents recorded against them, just like a bulk delete. If you only want to stop using a vendor, set them inactive instead.
              • Deleted vendors go to Settings → Deleted Items, where you can restore them.
