Each client has a page with their key figures and a list of the invoices you've raised for them. Use it to check what you've billed a client, how much unused credit they have from credit notes, and to jump to any of their invoices.
Open a client's page
- Go to Sales → Clients.
- Click the client's name.
You can also open the actions menu at the end of the client's row and choose Preview.
The summary
The top of the page shows the client's name, their GSTIN and their phone number (Ph). Click either value to copy it.
Four tiles sit below:
- Invoices — how many sales invoices you've raised for the client.
- Invoices(Amount) — the total value of those invoices.
- Invoices (GST) — the GST on those invoices.
- Available Credit — credit from the client's issued credit notes that hasn't yet been refunded or applied to another invoice.
The tiles cover all of the client's invoices. This page has no date filter.
Click Available Credit to open Sales → Credit Notes filtered to this client.
The invoice list
All Invoices lists every sales invoice for the client, newest first, with its Invoice Number, Valid Till, Issued Date, Total Amount, Total GST and Place of Supply. Invoices to an international client show International as the place of supply and no GST.
- Search by invoice number or place of supply.
- Filter by place of supply, or sort by any column.
- Click an invoice number to open the invoice.
If the client has no invoices yet, the list says No invoices for this client yet.
Contact details
Click the link icon next to the client's name. A panel opens with the client's logo, an Active label if they're active, and their GSTIN, phone, email and address. Click Edit Client Details to change any of them.
Tips
- To use a client's available credit, open one of their credit notes and click Record Settlement.
- For sales across all your clients over a period, use the Sales by Customer report under Reports.
