              Browse all Sales Invoice →

The All Invoices list on Sales → Sales Invoices helps you find invoices quickly and act on many of them together.

              Choose the period

Use the date range at the top right of the page. The summary cards, the chart and the invoice list all follow it.

              Search and filter

              • Search — type at least three characters in "Search through all your invoices". It matches the invoice number, order number, client name, notes, amounts and status.
              • Filters — use Client Name, Status, Currency and Place of Supply above the list. Each lets you pick several values, then apply them.
              • Chips — the values you've applied show as chips under the filters. Remove one chip to drop that value, or clear them all at once.

Statuses read Paid, Unpaid, Partially Paid or Draft. An unpaid invoice past its due date shows how late it is, for example "Overdue by 12 days". An invoice whose e-invoice was cancelled shows Cancelled.

              Sort and arrange columns

              • Click the Invoice No., Client Name, Created Date, Due Date or Issued Date heading to sort by that column.
              • Click the Manage columns button to show or hide columns. Hidden ones include GST, CGST, SGST, IGST, TDS, Net Receivable and e-Invoice. SmartLedger remembers your choice.
              • Change how many rows show per page at the bottom of the list.

              Open an invoice

Click any row to open the invoice in a side panel. Use the arrows at the top of the panel to step through the invoices in the list. The menu at the end of each row has Edit, Edit Payments, Preview and Delete, depending on the invoice's status.

              Delete many invoices

              1. Tick the boxes next to the invoices you want. To pick every invoice on the page, tick the box in the heading row.
              2. If more invoices match your filters than fit on the page, the bar above the list offers a Select all link, for example Select all 240 Invoices. Click it to include every matching invoice.
              3. Click Delete.
              4. Read the summary and confirm. The button names the count, for example Yes, Delete 5 Invoice(s).

Deleted invoices move to Settings → Deleted Items along with any payments recorded on them. You can restore them from there later.

If some selected invoices have credit notes, you're asked whether to Also delete those credit notes. Leave it unticked to keep those invoices and their credit notes. The rest are still deleted.

Large selections finish in the background. A progress card at the bottom right shows how many have been deleted, and you can keep working meanwhile.

To drop your selection, click Clear.

              Download the list

Click the Download button above the list and choose Download as CSV or Download as XLSX. The file covers the invoices in the date range at the top of the page, narrowed by your search if you've typed one.
