Settings → Quotes controls how new quotes are numbered and which logo they show. Set it up before you send your first quote so your numbering starts where you want it.
Set the numbering and logo
Go to Settings → Quotes and open the Quotes Branding tab.
Enter a Quote Prefix, for example your company's short name.
Enter the Quote Series Number, the number the next quote should get.
Under Logo, drag an image onto the box or click or browse for files.
PNG, JPG or WebP, up to 5 MB. Use at least 400 × 400 pixels so it prints clearly.
Click Save.
Save stays greyed out until you change something. Cancel takes you back to the dashboard.
How quotes are numbered
Every new quote is numbered automatically as year, prefix and series, for example 2026/QT/0007. Once you set a series number, it goes up by one with each new quote, so the field always shows the next number to be used.
- Leave Quote Prefix blank to use QT.
- Changing the prefix or series only affects quotes created afterwards. Existing quote numbers stay as they are.
Which logo a quote shows
A quote shows the logo you upload here. If you leave it empty, quotes use the company logo from Settings → General → Company Profile.
What comes from other settings
Some of what a new quote starts with is set elsewhere:
- The discount mode comes from Sales invoice discount under Settings → Invoices → Invoice Branding, because a quote becomes an invoice.
- Bank details print on quotes when Display Bank Details is Yes under Settings → Invoices → Account.
Tips
- A new quote's Valid Till date starts 30 days from today. Change it on the quote if you need a different validity.
- Write the notes and terms for each quote on the quote itself.
